The Hate list:
Airport Version

24. Personal playlists on high volume.. in public, when you know better not to crank the sound up. (Or you don't, because I just caught ya.)

My personal opinion is that not everybody wants to listen what you do. Ok maybe some do (slim chances), but maybe not that loud. Respect public ears. Newsflash, we have earphones now in 2014. Yey.

It so happened that my flight was delayed on my way back to the campus area. I scanned the environment for better seats while waiting to board because even on better days I.. possibly still do not want to hear loud ancient Chinese music (not being racist.. at all, trust me) from an uncle and his retro-looking in-lap boombox.. but meh, to no avail (refer point 25).
His wife had this "hey world I no care" look so I guessed that perhaps she recently purchased a pair of earplugs. Maybe, just maybe, there are better (quieter) ways of recommending good music. Or ok yea, in my case, music.

25. Taking more space than you should. This applies.. for train & bus trips too.

Some people think that their bags are more deserving of seats than you. Which.. is hmm. Hmmm.

Probably it was just a pretty bad day for me. 90% of these flyers had their bags next to them, I had a problem searching for an empty seat because they ignored my "I need a seat" stare.. then quickly averted the tension by rechecking Facebook for new status updates. I had bags on me and with me and I stood by.. making faces hoping 'til eventually somebody gives up. Of course until I hinted to sit next to this couple, who were too, at that time, waiting for a delayed flight.

That was before the retro Uncle came into cue.
